The Free Speech Coalition is a trade organization representing the adult entertainment industry. Its mission is "to safeguard the industry from oppressive governmental regulation and to promote good business practices within the industry."
"We are really excited to have a representative from the online segment of the adult industry on the Board," Michelle L. Freridge, FSC executive director said. "Connor is an insightful journalist with a great deal to contribute to the fight for the First Amendment rights of the industry."
Young will be replacing incumbent Board Member and long time supporter, Nick Orlandino, owner of Pipedream Products, who resigned from the board earlier in May.
"Nick put a lot of time and thought into fund-raising events like the golf tournament and Night of the Stars," Julie Stewart, FSC president and co-owner of Sportsheets, International said. "He will be missed."
