DVD distribution efforts are the immediate focus of the deal, with future plans for the worldwide distribution of other media types, including video-on-demand, cable, satellite, broadband, print and more.

Wicked Pictures said that the amateur content abbywinters offers is a fit for the Los Angeles-based studio because it doesn't already have any in production.
"Amateur content is very strong in the market now and falls outside of what Wicked produces. abbywinters has created a quality product in that genre," Steve Orenstein, Wicked Pictures CEO, said. Consistently rated as one of the world's top erotic websites, abbywinters.com also has been drawing much attention for their DVD releases, with Adult Video News nominations of its "Girl-Girl" line for Best All-Girl Series and the "Intimate Moments" masturbation line for Best Amateur Series.
"We're planning to continue our ambitious schedule of DVD releases during 2008. The first abbywinters DVD released through Wicked will be "Girls Loving Girls," due out in February 2008. Existing abbywinters DVD titles also will be available from Wicked, starting in mid-January.
