Rick's Cabaret: 36% Increase in Oct. Nightclub Sales

HOUSTON — Gentlemen's club operator Rick's Cabaret International Inc. has reported October sales of $2.8 million, a 36 percent increase over sales in October 2006.

"Our New York City location continues to have exceptional growth," Eric Langan, President and CEO of Rick's Cabaret International, said. "We are also particularly pleased with the development of our Club Onyx in Charlotte and strong contribution from the new Fort Worth club."

Same-store sales were reported to be up nearly 16 percent over the previous year's total of $2,114,172.

October is the first month of the company's 2008 fiscal year. Results for the full 2007 fiscal year will be reported in December.

Rick’s Cabaret operates upscale adult nightclubs that offer live adult entertainment, restaurant and bar operations. The company owns and operates or licenses adult nightclubs in New York, New Orleans, Houston, Minneapolis and Charlotte, N.C.
