Channel 1 Releasing Rolls Out Updated Live and Raw

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gay multimedia company Channel 1 Releasing has launched updated Live and Raw on-demand products. Users can go to the C1R site and access streaming content and live broadcasts.

“We’ve wanted to do this for quite a while and now that the new version has launched we couldn’t be happier,” C1R partner Tony Rios said. “Our web team has done a fantastic job and I’m sure it’ll blow our loyal members away.

Live and Raw first debuted on the C1R site eight years ago, offering members access to daily live web shows. The revamped version uses Flash technology for enhanced graphic quality and allows the service to operate across all media platforms. Users can view content in low, medium and high bandwidths as well as in full-screen.

“I’m thrilled that C1R continues making strides with the latest technology,” C1R partner and director Chi Chi La Rue said. “This new version of Live And Raw offers our fans quality gay adult entertainment — instantaneously — and I love that.”

4,500 archived shows are being transferred to the new program, with additional content provided by live shows four days a week.

Interactive features also have been added and upgraded including a fully functional chat room that members can use during the live show to talk to each other, as well as with the model via the moderator.

Models’ profiles have been updated to include current statistics, a listing of live show appearances and a videography, and a newly developed rating and search function helps members to identify and find popular shows with greater ease.

C1R claims to be the largest gay entertainment company in the world and its lines include Rascal Video, All Worlds Video, Catalina Video, Dirk Yates Collection, Pure PiXXX, Electro Video, LiveandRaw.com, ChiChiLaRue.com and ClubChannel1.com.
