CalExotics President Susan Colvin said the "Fantasies Outside the Box" catalog was designed to showcase the CalExotics creative team's hard work to develop a new collection of unique and innovative products.
"We really challenged our creative team," Colvin said. "They delivered on all fronts and I think the results are truly something special."
CalExotics' Scott Stein told XBIZ that "Fantasies Outside the Box" is the largest catalog produced by a novelty company, and the new items it features will be released over the next six months.
"All products are pictured with their respective packaging," Stein said, "and concise copy clearly defines the items' uses, features, finish and unique properties."
The catalog offers 210 new products and comes with CalExotics' new "Vibe 101" educational DVD, Stein said, which can be played in stores to better inform both staff and consumers of the company's new stock.
Also included with the catalog is a wholesale and distributor price list, order form and a suggested best-sellers "plan-a-gram" wall display, he said.
Some of CalExotics' new products include the Vibro-Pod multifunction MP3-compatible vibrator, the inflatable Luv-U-Lounge chair with a removable thrusting dildo unit, and the Universal waterworks system, a hose with a diverter that can turn any shower or bath into a water-powered sex toy.
Stein said CalExotics' next major catalog will be released in 2009 with a new name and theme, and also will feature a large collection of new, soon-to-be-released products.
