Pink Visual's Kim Kysar to Speak at XBIZ Summer Forum

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Kim Kysar, distribution operations manager for Pink Visual, will be a panel participant for the Content Distribution Part 1 — From Web to DVD on Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. The seminar will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

More web producers are looking to leverage their exclusive content for DVD sales in brick-and-mortar stores, only to find that it is not as easy as it looks, and there is a lot they need to know before profits can be realized, the company said.

"This is a stellar opportunity for me to represent Pink Visual, our successes, and challenges, with others looking to follow a similar business model. It's certainly not an easy enterprise to take on," Kysar said. "Delivering a tangible product via traditional distribution streams couldn't be more different from the instant global availability of online content delivery."

"This panel of established retailers and distributors will lay out in detail the rules of the road when it comes to real-world retail, with some sound advice from those who have already expanded their business model to include web to DVD sales," a company representative said. "This is a must-attend for any online content producer looking to add a new and proven revenue stream to their current business."

Kysar's official start in the adult industry was four years ago, when she joined the TopBucks team as an assistant project manager, a position which evolved into overseeing the sales team and taking on the management of both the VOD and DVD projects.

The company said Kysar has the unique perspective of experiencing not only both sides of online/offline content distribution, but of being involved in the development and continued branding of a successful and still growing DVD line.
