PictIcon Passes 100,000 Images

Edge Interactive Publishing has announced that its flagship lease gallery, The PictIcon, turned 100,000 in July 2004 - that is, that gallery now includes 104,1634 images, 896 videos, 2637 story scenes, and 402,525 searchable words.

Its core features are large size and extremely diversified niche content. The PictIcon features six-way access: via any of 134 categories, via 112 collections, via four video libraries, via New each month, via a google-like search engine, or via XML. The 134 categories include all body parts and fluids, costumes, locations, solo and hardcore sexual situations, fetish and bondage themes, real people, porn stars, models from 18 to 80, and images from antiquity through today. The 112 collections include photographers who shoot contemporary glamour, amateurs, Japanese, darkskin, men, parties, strippers, real scenes, and much more, such as hentai, lifestyle submissives, and rich legacy material. Each month a New section features 79-80 new scenes with 2800-3200 pictures being added each month. The 896 video clips range from action hardcore to solo girls and bondage.

The PictIcon's unique position in the webmaster market is a mega-gallery plug-in with massive content, superb organization, a clean graphical feel, easy-to-use navigation, and diverse content. All pages are precalculated vanilla HTML for a fast load time and hassel-free delivery. Each page contains a searchable title, text, keywords, and standardized 96 pixel thumbnails for all images and video clips. A surfer can traverse from any page in the Picticon to any other in three mouse clicks, and the search engine can locate any match of words or phrases in a second and returns one of more pages with lists of clickable links. The product is zippy and no-nonsense. There are no restrictions on the surfer downloading any stills or video for their personal use.

Customers include TopBucks, Pornkings, Geekteck, Mirage (MirVad), Wasteland, Net-spot Online, Niteline, Hardcore Money, and Whitehouse. Some of these providers bring their surfers into the PictIcon Main Page, some bring surfers directly into various collections or categories, some do both, and some "snake" the content using our XML delivery to grab the content and serve from within their on their own pages. Webmasters also gain access to the promotional picture-of-the-day, which is an high resolution image which is suitable to display in non-protected areas of their website, along with the use of over 300 collection and category thumbnails, banners, and other promotional art.

PictIcon is priced at a single cost that includes unlimited bandwidth; there are no popups, upsells, or banners. The product is 2257 compliant and include a file that links each and every picture to the keeper of records for that image. Many of our clients operate multiple-website licenses; pricing is also available for webmasters with small clientel, AVS sites, and other business models.
