DUBLIN — Johnny Sins has officially launched Fangate, a platform that allows creators to sell content directly to fans without requiring a user account or subscription.
According to a rep, the process allows creators to upload content, generate a link, and post it on any social media platform or messaging app, at which point their fans can simply click and purchase the content without needing to sign up for an account.
"Fangate is built on one idea: a creator should be able to get paid wherever their fans already are," the rep said. "Removing the signup step matters commercially; every registration screen between a fan and a purchase is a place where the sale dies."
The platform also allows creators to group videos, photos, and other content into collections that can then be marketed to their fans with a single link and purchase price.
"I spent my whole career on platforms that owned the relationship with my fans,” said Sins. “Fangate flips that; you make something, put a price on it, post the link, and the fan buys it right there."
