Wicked Wraps Production on Crime Thriller 'Reputation'

MONTREAL — Wicked Pictures has wrapped production on its new psychological crime thriller, "Reputation," co-directed by Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q.

The title stars Gal Ritchie, Charles Dera, Alison Rey, Ameena Green, Nina Nova, Summer Col, Scarlett Alexis, Nicole Kitt, Dany Sinclair, and multi-XMAs winner Zac Wild.

“Former LAPD detective turned criminology professor Gillian Sterling (Ritchie) is drawn back into active investigations after a string of women disappear,” the synopsis reveals. “Reuniting with her former partner, Det. Alex Fletcher (Wild), Gillian is forced to confront old relationships, departmental corruption, and an increasingly personal investigation tied to a secretive roleplay app. As the case spirals deeper into obsession and deception, she discovers that reputations can be carefully crafted — and dangerously misleading.”

Vegas enthused about the project.

“I've always wanted to make a cop movie, and setting it against the gritty backdrop of Los Angeles made it even more exciting,” he said. “What truly delighted me was the chemistry between Zac and Gal. Their relationship became the emotional heartbeat of the film, and I think audiences are going to fall in love with that dynamic. And I have to say, Charles Dera as a police sergeant is everything you could hope for.”

Added Q, “Collaborating with Wicked on ‘Reputation’ allowed us to create something that feels both thrilling and deeply personal. It's a procedural thriller that explores power, corruption, and identity through complex characters and emotional performances. I'm incredibly proud of what our cast accomplished, especially Alison Rey and our ensemble of women, who brought remarkable authenticity and heart to the story.”
