LOS ANGELES — Ricky Greenwood won two top prizes at the 2026 XMA Awards, where his cast and crews were also honored throughout the evening.
Greenwood won Director of the Year — Body of Work (Narrative), while his Digital Playground feature "Deadly Vows" was named Best Picture.
Additionally, "Deadly Vows" star Ryan Reid won Best Lead Actor, and two scenes that Greenwood directed were also honored with awards — Digital Playground's "The Holdup" won Best Sex Scene — Comedy Movie, and Parasited's "The Parasite Queen" won Best Sex Scene — Orgy/Group (Male-Led).
Meanwhile, Greenwood's crews celebrated several awards, as Shawn Alff won Best Screenplay again for Dorcel's "Strip," and Andy Appleton and Kylie Ireland won Best Art Direction for "Deadly Vows," which also brought Boris Dongson, Steve McQueef, and Mz Montage the XMA Award for Best Editing.
"I was thrilled to win Best Picture and Director of the Year again," said Greenwood. "I really didn’t think I would, as all my projects this year were passion projects, which is rewarding, but awards don’t always follow. I’m honored that XBIZ chose to give me these two awards and recognize my cast and crews."
