LOS ANGELES — Kendra Sunderland and Alina Lopez star with reigning and three-time XMAs Male Performer of the Year Vince Karter in the second installment of the Vixen showcase series “The Angel Anthology.”
Directed by Derek Dozer, the episode features Sunderland as “an espionage operative who seeks out her estranged partner and old flame (Lopez) to bring the team back together for a new mission with an associate (Karter) along for the ride,” the synopsis reveals. “The reunion reignites the mutual obsession that once drove the two apart, and it proves anything but professional.”
Dozer enthused about his co-stars.
“The chemistry between Kendra and Alina was there before I ever called action, and that’s what happens when you put two of the most iconic Vixen Angels in one scene,” he said. “This is a pairing fans have never seen before, and it was worth the wait.”
“The Angel Anthology: Kendra & Alina” drops Sept. 4 on Vixen.
