Adult Chat Platform Arousr Sets Human-Only Host Policy

MONTREAL — Adult chat platform Arousr has announced a policy to feature only verified human hosts, not chatbots.

“Unlike many new adult chat services that rely on scripted messaging or AI-driven engagement tools, Arousr maintains a strict no-bot policy, ensuring all interactions are live and intentional.

“The platform also emphasizes discreet user experiences through confidential billing descriptors, minimal data retention, and moderation policies designed to protect against harassment, impersonation, and non-consensual behavior,” the rep added. “This protects both its real female chat hosts and its members.”

Arousr founder Patrick Roy enthused about the policy.

“At a time when users are questioning whether they’re talking to a real person at all, privacy and authenticity are inseparable,” he said. “Arousr was built on the belief that adult intimacy online should be consensual, confidential, and human first, not automated or exploitative of its members.”
