LOS ANGELES — Performer Availability Screening Services (PASS) has named RubyLynne, Beth McKenna, and Kira Noir as new members of its board of directors.
According to a rep, all three newly elected board members are active adult performers with experience that will benefit PASS. RubyLynne is a long-time member of the PASS Medical Advisory Board with a professional background in public health systems.
“I’m honored to join the Board of Directors at PASS,” she said. “As a performer with experience in public health, I’m excited to contribute my lived experience and advocacy to an organization that sets the standard for safety, trust, and accountability in our industry.”
McKenna’s combined legal and industry experience will contribute to PASS navigating the regulatory landscape.
<p“It is my immense honor to join the Board of Directors at PASS,” said McKenna. “As a performer with more than 30 years of legal experience, I look forward to supporting the board on many levels, both as a performer and as a lawyer.”
Finally, Noir brings her experience as an advocate and educator on performer rights and workplace equity.
“I’ve seen the positive impact that PASS has had on our community my entire career,” said Noir. “I’m thrilled to be able to be a part of the board, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to help keep my industry safe.”
Added PASS Executive Director Ian O’Brien, “One of our goals in founding PASS as its own organization was to ensure that the people most affected by health and safety policy have real authority in shaping it. We believe that doing so makes the entire industry stronger, safer, and more accountable. Bringing exceptional and established leaders like Ruby, Beth, and Kira into PASS governance ensures our standards are grounded in lived experience rather than assumptions.”
