Brazilian Adult Industry Association ABIPEA Launches

SAO PAOLO, Brazil — Brazilian Association of the Adult Entertainment Industry and Professionals (ABIPEA) has officially launched.

The nonprofit association offers a communication, resource, and engagement hub for creators, studios, agencies, distributors, and retailers, among other members of the industry.

“ABIPEA symbolizes the end of amateurism and fragmentation,” said ABIPEA President Paula Aguiar. “It marks the beginning of a structured, transparent movement that seeks dignity and respect for adult entertainment professionals.”

According to a rep, the organization’s priorities include compliance with Bill 2628/2022 to ensure family safety and market transparency, adoption of the Restricted to Adults (RTA) tag for additional digital responsibility, and mapping of the first National Census of Adult Entertainment in 2026 to generate jobs and drive the creative economy.

“Membership features access to certifications, exclusive events, and participation in strategic decision-making, as well as training programs, legal and psychological support, and the promotion of professional development events,” the rep said. “Sponsors will benefit from brand visibility in targeted media and access to unique data about the market.”
