AMSTERDAM — Over 1,000 of the brightest industry luminaries from across the Continent and beyond packed Theater Amsterdam on Thursday night for the 2025 Euro XMAs, adult’s biggest night in Europe.
The red carpet shimmered under the lights, a runway of flashbulbs and sequins as stars arrived decked in jewels. Photographers lined up shoulder to shoulder, capturing every gown, tux and glance.
Leading the charge was European star and red-carpet host Catherine Knight, who floated into the spotlight in a sheer, body-skimming gown covered in dazzling white jewels. The look made her a living embodiment of Rihanna’s famous lyric, “Shine bright like a diamond” — a radiant look that set the tone for the evening.
Across the narrow street, the canal mirrored the glow as the crowd streamed into the theater foyer, where friends, colleagues and a 50-foot-long bar buzzed with anticipation for the night ahead.
At the appointed hour, the crowd headed into the main auditorium, where they were dwarfed by a massive screen. Soon, the pounding disco and funk music gave way to the signature anticipatory drone that always builds when the XMAs is about to pop off. A customary montage of European vistas filled the screen, and a booming announcement heralded a welcome for power couple hosts Little Caprice and Marcello Bravo.
The couple entered from stage left, a black-suited Bravo shouting into the mic to hype up the energy in the room. Caprice, bedecked in a sparkling gown, turned to the crowd.
“Let me start by saying: Amster… damn! You look so sexy tonight!” she shouted to raucous cheers.
The first presenters of the evening, red-carpet maven Catherine Knight and the ever-radiant Amirah Adara, set the tone for the night’s glamour. Knight sparkled with her trademark poise, while Adara stunned in a pleated black satin ballgown, full skirt cinched at the waist with a gunmetal-toned belt — a look that could have graced the Met Gala.
Together, the duo handed out the awards for All-Sex Movie of the Year and Best Vignette Sex Scene. The former went to Dorcel’s “Thr3e #6,” while the latter was claimed by Ella Hughes, Eve Sweet and Jordi El Nino Polla for Brazzers’ “Hire a Husband.”
Sweet, in a tight black dress, and Hughes, in a red gown that perfectly matched her signature crimson locks, accepted the award, with Sweet waiting to one side of the microphone while Hughes sprinted from the other side of the stage to leap into Sweet’s arms. Both seemed shocked at the win.
“Oh wow, I didn’t expect this!” Sweet exclaimed.
Hughes responded, “Me neither! I’m shaking!
“It’s not hard to do a good job when your co-star looks like this,” she added, pointing at Sweet.
The pair still seemed flabbergasted when they came offstage.
“We’re shocked, but so happy,” Hughes gushed.
Next, a bejeweled Alice Wild took the stage with Josephine Jackson, who was draped in luscious green satin, to present the award for Erotic Site of the Year. The trophy went to HardWerk.com, and site honcho Paulita Pappel took the stage to accept.
“I want to be very honest,” Pappel began. “Two months ago, I was thinking about closing down HardWerk. This is really a sign… It means the world.”
Clemence Audiard arrived onstage in a sheer off-the-shoulder gown to present two of the big pleasure product awards: Best Couples Sex Toy, which went to Kiiroo’s Luxus, and Best Sex Toy Innovation, won by Lovehoney Group’s Arcwave Ion 2.
“It took us 10 years to make it,” said Kiiroo’s Ashton Egner of the Luxus. “Ten years! So this means the world to us.”
Lola Rose took the stage in a deep red, curve-hugging minidress, to present the awards for Paysite Company of the Year, which went to Paybig, and Paysite of the Year, for which Hentaied.pro earned the nod for the second year in a row.
In accepting, Hentaied impresario Romero Mr. Alien talked about his company’s philosophy.
“We’ve tried to push the boundaries of this industry for a very long time,” he said. “So I’m very grateful for this... I’d also like to thank my father, who didn’t pull out!”
Backstage, Romero remained just as ebullient.
“We put a lot of effort into what we do,” he told XBIZ. “We’re working like crazy. So getting this award, it’s really important.”
After a brief intermission, hosts Marcello Bravo and Little Caprice returned to the stage.
“Little Caprice and I are masters of role-playing,” Bravo confided.
“Yes we are, darling,” Caprice affirmed. “I remember once, Marcello portrayed a European super spy, and I played an informant he was tasked with taking down.”
Marcello then whispered into the mic, “And then… I fucked her!”
The routine quickly turned into a call-and-response with the audience, as Caprice described ever-more elaborate role-playing scenes before Bravo would jump in with a well-timed “and then…” for the crowd to respond “You fucked her!” The punchline being the sudden reversal when the scenario in question was a fetish scene casting Marcello as a submissive sex slave, prompting Caprice to grab Bravo and shout, “I fucked him!”
Estella Bathory then commanded the spotlight in a deep V-cut black jumpsuit, her full mosaic of body art gleaming under the lights, as she presented the award for Best Lesbian Sex Scene.
Tiffany Tatum and Ashby Winter swept onto the stage to collect the trophy, on behalf of themselves and co-stars Bunny Brownie, Leya Desantis and Sarah Heizel.
“This scene was really crazy,” Tatum laughed. “It was fucking long, but it was the best scene ever!” Backstage, still buzzing, she proclaimed, “Winning is always the best!”
As it turned out, Winter’s night was just getting started. No sooner had she finished posing in the winner’s circle than Bathory was calling her name again, this time for Best Feature Sex Scene, alongside Troy Francisco and Dimitri Shadow for Vixen Media Group’s “In Vogue 2.” Francisco and Shadow bounded onstage to accept.
“Oh my God!” Shadow crowed, drawing roars from the crowd before thanking the cast and crew.
Then came Christy White, sauntering to the stage in liquid-gold satin to deliver the awards for Male and Female Streamer of the Year. Dominant Alex and Hope Heaven claimed the titles, each nearly breathless with disbelief.
“It’s surreal,” Alex told XBIZ backstage. “To win this award in front of everyone here, it’s so unexpected.”
Heaven, nearly speechless under the spotlight, summed it up this way backstage: “My pulse is so high, my adrenaline is rushing. It’s so amazing to win!”
European icons Mariska and Shalina Devine followed, dual visions in scarlet and black as they handed the Best Acting trophy to Clara Mia.
“I’m so happy!” Mia exclaimed. “I always try to give my best, so I’m just really grateful.”
The presenting pair also bestowed the trophy for Best Director — Body of Work (Narrative) to Julia Grandi, who clinched her sixth consecutive win.
“You never believe, after so many times in a row, that you’re going to get it again,” Grandi marveled backstage. “It’s definitely shocking.”
Sky Bri and petite firecracker Dainty Wilder were next, bringing playful energy as they presented the Fetish and Cosplay Creator of the Year trophies.
Germany’s Cruel Reell took the Fetish category, flushed with excitement as she admitted, “Maybe I’ll be the first person to pass out onstage after winning.” Backstage, she was still overwhelmed, declaring: “I’m completely out of breath!”
Octokuro, meanwhile, sparkled as Cosplay Creator of the Year, a win she called even more thrilling than her victory last year as Female Clip Artist of the Year.
“I do cosplay content so much, and it’s so important to me,” she said. “I’m excited as fuck to win this award!”
Then came Stefany Kyler, statuesque in a black sequin gown with a thigh-high slit and a neckline plunging to her navel, to reveal the winner of Best Orgy/Group Sex Scene. Dorcel’s “Pigalle” took the prize, boasting a star-studded lineup including Amirah Adara, Lola Bellucci, Ariana Cortez, Shalina Devine, Irina Kovalenko, Diana Lawrence, Malia Lenoir, Lullabyebye, Clara Mia, Nicole Rae, Anita Rover, Jimmy Bud, Luke Hardy, Matthew Meier, Ricky Rascal and Klem Rover.
Kyler also presented the trophy for Best All-Sex Sex Scene, which went to show hosts Caprice and Bravo, along with red carpet host Knight, for their work together in “Buttmuse Anal Divas” from Little Caprice Dreams.
“That was such an amazing scene to do,” Knight enthused after the winners’ photos were taken, as Caprice and Bravo rushed back to the stage for hosting duties. “It was a dream to work with Marcello and Caprice. I’m really, really happy.”
Draped in a flowing black gown with delicate white panels peeking through, Leah Koons of presenting sponsor Fansly lit up the room with her signature candor, joking about being surrounded by “professional hot people” before pivoting into a heartfelt reminder of why supporting the European industry matters.
Then came a surprise: Roses and whips were handed out to the audience.
“Everybody in this industry deserves their roses!” she declared with a sly grin. “Also, probably everybody in this room deserves to be whipped a little bit.”
The crowd roared at this, and the energy carried seamlessly into the night’s most poignant moment, as Addis Fouché, Kazumi and Calita Fire presented the Vanguard Award to luminary director and producer Erika Lust.
“It’s been 20 years for me in adult cinema… time flies when you’re having fun!” Lust reflected. “I’m so proud to be part of this vibrant community that refuses to be silenced. Because they’re all trying to silence us, ban us and get rid of us on social media platforms out there. Together, performers, producers, crew and audiences, we must keep fighting for the right to tell our stories. And to celebrate sexuality.”
Following that heartfelt rallying cry, the show shifted back to glamour and celebration as Evie Rees floated out in a flirty pink dress, her signature pink locks dancing on her shoulders, while Quincy turned heads in a jewel-toned, emerald green body-con gown.
The duo presented the award for MILF Creator of the Year to Sienna Day, and the award for Trans Creator of the Year to TS Britney, who moved the room with a powerful acceptance speech.
“I don’t think I’m any better than any of you,” she said. “We all work so hard — to make a living, to be visible, to be proud — and this year has been so hard for people in the trans community. Thank you so much to everyone who stands up to hate, and against transphobia, and supports us every single day.”
Multi-Euro XMAs winners Kelly Collins and Tiffany Tatum then shared a fashion moment, as Collins charmed in a short, sassy blue-and-white dress that let her natural beauty shine through, while Tatum dazzled like a Hollywood siren in a show-stopping red sequin gown worthy of the Oscars.
Together, they handed off the trophies for Male and Female Creator of the Year, with the male honor going to The Irish Bull.
“I’ve put so much work in, and it’s nice to know that people like my stuff,” he told XBIZ backstage, quipping, “Some days, it’s not easy getting a blowjob. Some days, it is!”
Meanwhile, the spotlight turned to Mamaplugs, who swept onto the stage to claim the trophy for Female Creator of the Year. After a heartfelt thank-you to her friends and husband, she slipped backstage into the winners’ circle, trophy in hand and a sparkle of disbelief in her eyes.
“It feels a bit scary to win, but I’m so happy,” she confessed, still a little shaky. “I’m also really surprised.”
The energy barely had time to settle before Best Acting champ Clara Mia reappeared, this time to hand over the award for Best Feature Movie to Vixen Media Group’s “In Vogue 2.”
“Thank you to my amazing cast and crew for making this movie happen,” director Julia Grandi said, glowing as she made her second victorious lap of the night into the backstage winner’s circle.
Back under the lights, Mia crowned rising local talent Britney Dutch as Best New Performer.
Dutch practically floated backstage, beaming, “It’s crazy! I’m very happy, and it’s great to be seen!”
The next presenters to grace the stage were Misha Cross and Christian Clay, the latter earning a roar of applause after cheekily telling the packed house of stars just how fantastic they all looked.
The pair then handed off the trophy for MILF Performer of the Year to Sabien DeMonia, who made sure no one would forget her entrance by strutting onstage with a bound, gagged, kneeling slave trailing behind her on a leash.
“Fuck yeah, finally!” she shouted, hoisting her trophy high. “I will not cry. Well, maybe later.”
“I’d like to thank my dad for my daddy issues, and my mom for my mommy issues,” she continued. “Without them, I wouldn’t be such a freak! I’d also like to thank every single inch of body that was inside of me this year.”
Backstage, still pulling her slave along, DeMonia was succinct about how it felt to win the award.
“I’m very wet,” she confided.
Back onstage, Cross and Clay proceeded to award the title of Gay Performer of the Year to Sir Peter — his second consecutive win.
“This year has been a bit difficult for me,” Peter explained after his thank-yous. “Because of anxiety and mental health issues, which I think everyone in this room can relate to. There’s nobody better than the people in this room to relate to each other, so if you need help, reach out to someone. That’s the main message I want to get across.”
Backstage, Peter elaborated on what it meant to win again.
“This is just a tremendous honor, to be here,” he said. “I’m just ecstatic, and I hope to keep on doing this as long as people want me to.”
The night reached its crescendo as Ella Hughes floated onto the stage in a tan halter-style gown, fiery locks swept into a chic updo. At her side was the always debonair Manuel Ferrara, the pair radiating elegance as they prepared to present the evening’s final honors: Male and Female Performer of the Year.
First up was Male POTY, which went to Matthew Meier.
Visibly overwhelmed, he clutched the trophy and admitted, “Honestly, I have no words to describe this. I have goosebumps, and I’m trying to calm down.”
When a voice from the crowd shouted “I love you!” Meier grinned and shot back, “I love you! We’re not just entertainment. We are art!”
Backstage, still trembling, he confessed, “My hands are really shaking. I was so nervous, just trying to give my speech. It’s such an honor.”
Then came the big finish: Hughes and Ferrara announced the 2025 Euro XMAs Female Performer of the Year — Eve Sweet. Already a double winner that night, Sweet collapsed into tears as the magnitude of the moment hit.
“Oh my fucking God,” she cried, clutching her trophy. “I have been dreaming about having this award in my hand for many years. Keep fucking, and have fun!”
Backstage, Sweet reflected on her win with raw honesty.
“It took so many things for this to happen,” she said, voice thick with emotion. “It’s been a very intense year. I worked really hard for this, and put a lot of myself into it — I’m very fucking proud!”
As the lights dimmed, hosts Little Caprice and Marcello Bravo made one last sparkling bow.
“We’re taking this party to the streets of Amsterdam!” Caprice exhorted the crowd, to deafening cheers.
“Until next year, darlings,” Bravo purred. “Stay safe, and stay sexy. Goodnight!”
