Pineapple Support, Streamate to Host 'Navigating Grief and Loss' Support Group

LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support and Streamate are hosting a free online support group to help performers cope with grief and loss.

The six-week “Navigating Grief and Loss” group will be led by licensed psychologist Dr. Tess Kilwein and begins Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. CDT. Sessions will last approximately one hour and will take place Tuesdays through Sept. 2.

“‘Navigating Grief and Loss’ is open to all adult industry professionals who have experienced grief or loss,” said a rep. “Participants are invited to openly share their stories and develop practical coping skills to navigate their unique journeys. The group is designed to reduce feelings of isolation, loneliness, anxiety, depression, and fatigue that often accompany grief.”

Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit added, “Grief takes many shapes and forms, and we want our community to know they don’t have to face it alone. We’re incredibly grateful to Streamate for supporting this important initiative. With their partnership and Dr. Kilwein’s expertise, we’re able to provide safe and guided support for those who need it most.”
