FSC Sets Key Dates, Qualifiers for Board of Directors Election

LOS ANGELES — Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has released its schedule of key dates and list of qualifiers for its upcoming board of directors election.

The FSC statement follows:

The election process for the 2024 Free Speech Coalition Board of Directors election will begin on November 5 2024. In order to participate in this election, either as a voter or a nominee, you must be an FSC member as of Friday, October 4, 2024.

Directors serve two-year terms (2025-26) and are tasked with oversight and growth of the organization. Duties include attending quarterly board meetings, assisting with fundraising and initiatives, and serving as ambassadors for FSC.

Below are the key dates and requirements for participation in this year’s election:

October 4: Record Date

Date by which you must be a Free Speech Coalition member in good standing in order to participate in the election.
Those who wish to become FSC members can do so here.
Existing members who wish to confirm their standing to vote can do so here.

November 5: Nominations Begin

Two nominations from FSC members are required in order to get on the election ballot. Individuals are permitted to nominate themselves. Nominations close at midnight on the night of November 19th.

December 3: Election Begins

Election for open seats on the Board begins on December 3 and ends at midnight on the night of December 10. Results of the election will be announced in the week following the close of the election.
