PASS Adds Indie Producer Fivestar to Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES — The Performer Availability Screening Service (PASS) has tapped independent producer Fivestar to join its board of directors.

A longtime adult film director, producer and bondage rigger, Fivestar is the owner of Filthy Studios, which promotes diverse sexual expression and kinky media through film production under the Filthy Femdom brand, BDSM workshops and industry events. She has supported PASS throughout her tenure in the industry, directly advocating for the needs of talent.

A rep said that Fivestar “has been faithful to PASS's mission of maintaining the health and safety of adult industry workers.”

PASS Executive Director Ian O’Brien said, “Fivestar has earned a reputation amongst those that work with her as someone who is steadfast in the prioritization of health and safety on her sets, and having worked with her through a number of challenging situations, I have been personally inspired by her integrity. I have regularly sought Five’s counsel for a number of years now, and am thrilled she’s now formally part of our team.”

Fivestar, who participated in her first board meeting earlier this month, enthused, “PASS plays a vital role in performer safety and keeping the industry legal. I am excited to formalize my role by becoming a board member. Please join me in supporting PASS by joining the Studio Certification Program, getting tested or donating today.”
