Segpay's Cathy Beardsley Named Among American Banker's 2024 'Most Influential Women in Payments'

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley has been named one of American Banker’s 2024 Most Influential Women in Payments.

Beardsley, a previous honoree in 2022, will be recognized alongside other payments professionals at the forthcoming American Banker Payments Forum in Hollywood, Florida.

Each year, financial services trade publication American Banker recognizes and celebrates trailblazing women leaders in the payments sector with the Most Influential Women in Payments program. Since 2013, the initiative has recognized the professional achievements and influence of top-performing women executives who have made a significant impact on their people, their businesses and the industry as a whole.

American Banker highlighted Beardsley’s ability to lead Segpay through last year’s economic storm by innovating new ideas to help the company reach its target goals. Segpay was also spotlighted for its ability to help its merchants strengthen their networks to fight against cybercriminals with additional safeguards and fraud gates.

“It is an honor to receive this recognition,” Beardsley said. “It is a testament to the work my team has done to make Segpay the success it is over the past 19 years. We always take challenges head-on and go above and beyond to make sure we are there for our merchants, 'All the Way to Paid.'”

The honorees will be the focal point of a Women in Payments pre-conference leadership exchange on the first morning of Payments Forum, which takes place March 27-28 at The Diplomat resort in Hollywood, Florida.
