LOS ANGELES — Pleasure brand CockBlock Toys has scored a 2024 XBIZ Awards nomination for Couples Toy of the Year.
The recognition is for their eponymous pleasure product, CockBlock.
“It’s incredible to me that something I invented to fill an unmet need is now shoulder to shoulder with some of the biggest brands in our industry, at the biggest event in the business,” said Justin Depow, the founder of parent company Pow Product Inc. “After so many hurdles and obstacles bringing CockBlock to market, being in the couple’s category, which is often dominated by products aimed at straight couples, is a testament to the fact that there is a demand for a new kind of approach to queer pleasure that provides new options for intimacy.
“We see that every day in conversations among our social media followers, and now everybody else is starting to take notice,” Depow added. “If we secure the win and take home the award, it will always be dedicated to our incredible customers and supporters.”
The 2024 XBIZ Awards will recognize the best in the industry on Sunday, Jan. 21 at the historic Hollywood Palladium. In keeping with tradition, select award categories under Web & Technology, Pleasure Products and Retail will be presented at the two editions of the annual XBIZ Honors ceremonies.
