Swiss Navy Celebrates Women's Health Month

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — M.D. Science Lab, maker of the Swiss Navy brand, is celebrating Women’s Health Month throughout May with a theme of “Happiness Starts With Good Health."

M.D. Science Lab VP of Sales and Marketing Briana Watkins said, “This year’s theme for Women’s Health Month really hit home for us. Our Desire by Swiss Navy collection supports women’s health in so many ways with its Sensual Arousal Gel, Stimulating Cream and Personal Lubricants. And the fact that this collection remains so successful shows how much a female-focused product line is needed.”

Swiss Navy offers a website where retailers can learn about wellness and products that may be helpful for consumers: the Desire Wellness Center.

“Here retailers can learn interesting facts, statistics, research and ways to be more comfortable speaking with consumers about intimate issues,” a rep noted. “Swiss Navy supports sexual health and continually brings training, education and information directly to the retailers, where it's needed the most.”

The “Happiness Starts With Good Health” theme, the rep added, “works nicely with another celebration that takes place every May — Masturbation Month. During an orgasm, by oneself or with a partner, ‘feel-good’ hormones are released into the body. Oxytocin, dopamine and endorphins released all have a connection to helping promote greater happiness.”

M.D. Science Lab Intimate Health Advisor Dr. Sunny Rodgers explained that the goal of Women’s Health Month is to empower women to make their overall health a priority.

"We want to support retailers with the knowledge to help women on their journeys to improve their intimate health," Rodgers said.
