Brad Mitchell to Deliver XBIZ 2023 Tech Keynote

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that MojoHost co-founder and CEO Brad Mitchell will deliver the tech keynote address at XBIZ LA 2023, set for Jan. 9-12.

North America’s largest adult industry conference will once again bring together top stars, indie creators, digital media pros, company execs and newcomer entrepreneurs for boundless business opportunities — and for a comprehensive look at the future of adult entertainment.

Mitchell entered the adult arena in 1999, and attended his first industry conference one year later with a vision to build a top-of-the-line online affiliate program for phone sex marketing. In 2002, the entrepreneurial exec identified a pressing need in the marketplace for hosting services, which he had been providing to a handful of companies as a side hustle. A friendship with Corey Baldwin, a local Michigan webmaster, soon led to the launch of MojoHost.

The company’s famous tagline, “That’s Good Mojo,” has been Mitchell’s mantra over the past two decades.

“I truly feel that doing good things sends positivity into the world,” he told XBIZ during an interview in 2018.

“Paying it forward, doing the right thing and treating others how you’d like to be treated is a core belief at MojoHost,” he continued. “When I buy someone a drink or dinner, it’s a genuine gesture and there’s no quid pro quo there. It’s my pleasure. I want to talk, have fun, maybe have one too many. I love getting to know people, share a memorable experience — and if we get to do business later, then that’s a bonus.”

Mitchell expects his upcoming XBIZ LA experience to be “full of new business and educational opportunities,” he said. “I am over the moon to be back at XBIZ after years of COVID and other challenges that got in the way of my attendance at this industry-favorite event.”

He noted that the MojoHost team, as well as industry colleagues, have been “focused and working hard… and from this, good things will arise.”

Mitchell thanked XBIZ publisher Alec Helmy for offering a spotlight to share his thoughts and expertise.

“I’m thrilled to be giving a keynote speech,” he enthused. “I find it to be a tremendous honor. Alec himself is a true industry pioneer.”

He promised to deliver an “unforgettable” talk for attendees.

“Whereas most people like to paint a beautiful picture when publicly reflecting on their past, I intend to showcase my truth with genuine vulnerability and aim to inspire the audience by sharing personal experiences from the past 23 years. People often make assumptions about other people’s journeys; I believe my story is one of hope and overcoming incredible odds. I aspire to encourage and really lend courage to those who need it most.”

The 2023 edition of XBIZ LA kicks off “XBIZ week” with an extensive array of scheduled panels, networking socials and exclusive special events such as Winter Wonderland and XBIZ Honors, as well as post-conference events X3 Expo and the 2023 XBIZ Awards.
