Adult Empire Rolls Out Monthlong 25th Anniversary Promotion

PITTSBURGH — Adult Empire will celebrate its 25th anniversary throughout August with an array of promotions, sales, retrospectives, special content and other events.

"We wanted to create something special for our silver anniversary," said company rep Madison Greene. "Each week of August, we will focus on a different aspect of the company’s history and the history of porn: movies, stars, customer appreciation and more. We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy a remarkable run as one of the industry’s go-to retailers. And we’re far from done."

Adult Empire will also be offering a 25%-off site-wide sale starting Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Greene noted that themed promo pages, debuting this week and next, will delve into some of the popular movies and stars in Adult Empire’s history, accompanied by in-depth blog posts and YouTube videos.

On Friday, the company will release a new podcast interview with Maitland Ward. "In addition to discussing the evolution of porn over the past quarter century, Maitland delves into her upcoming book, 'Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me From Hollywood.' Later in the month, Natasha Nice is slated to make a guest appearance on the podcast. Blog interviews with AE Films star Missy Martinez and industry veteran Shay Sights are also scheduled to appear.

Greene said the "AE Pulse" newsletter posts, published each Monday on the Adult Empire blog, will contain detailed information about each week’s promotions.
