BOSTON — Angie Rowntree and Sssh.com have earned nominations from the 2022 XBIZ Awards and XBIZ Exec Awards; as the founder and CEO of Sssh, Rowntree is nominated for the “Progressive Leadership Award” while the studio itself is nominated for “Best Erotic Site."
"I want to thank the nomination committee at XBIZ for recognizing our work at Sssh.com,” Rowntree said. “It is an honor above words to be nominated along with so many other incredibly talented people.”
A rep noted Sssh "thrives on innovation, deep data and thinking outside the box. Launched in 1999, Sssh has garnered praise in both the adult and mainstream media and film festivals for its sex-positive, female-friendly content.
"Sssh was founded because Angie wanted to create sex-positive films that truly focused on female pleasure while incorporating her vision as both a filmmaker and storyteller," the rep continued.
