PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — Williams Trading Co. has rolled out a Pride Month marketing campaign to include an enhanced digital interactive "Pride 2021" catalog, targeted social media outreach and "a hand-curated mix of new products" that appeal to Pride consumers.
The marketing program is supported in partnership with JRL Charts.
A rep described the "cornerstone" of this month's campaign as the "hand-curated selection of Pride-themed products" from vendor partners Blush Avant Pride, Cloud 9 Novelties, Gaysentials from PHS International, Hott Products Unlimited, Little Genie, Male Power, NS Novelties and XR Brands.
"All items curated meet a criteria of having a rainbow-themed color and design," added the rep.
For retail support, Williams Trading has created a digital interactive catalog and customized landing page with live links to simplify product selection and the ordering process.
"With a significant increase in sales for specialty brands during Pride season, we really wanted to hand-select a great assortment of products to offer this year,” Williams Trading's Rachel M said. “PHS International always has a great assortment in their Gaysentials line, and Hott Products and NS Novelties also have some wonderful items on offer. Cloud 9's Rainbow Gems are also great to add to any Pride-themed section."
Senior Sales Rep Ron Kohls noted the company "narrowed the mix to help guide our retail partners with specific Pride selections."
"Williams Trading is a one-stop-shop for all Pride-themed products," he added.
The company expects a shopping surge this summer, given most Pride events last year were cancelled due to the mandatory pandemic lockdowns.
"It's imperative that retailers carve out a section of retail space and promote these custom assortments during the 2021 Pride selling season,” VP of Sales Rich Pyne said.
