2000Charge Now Offering 2 New Payment Options for Colombian Market

MEDELLIN, Colombia — Global financial services company 2000Charge has announced an expansion of their services aimed towards Latin America, with two new payment options for the Colombian market — Efecty and Via Baloto.

“The Colombian e-commerce market is expanding, with many people not owning a credit or debit card,” said a rep. “Market development is also driven by bank transfers and cash payments. 2000Charge enables merchants to tap into this market by offering Efecty and Via Baloto — two familiar and trustworthy payment options for that market.”

The Efecty payment option is a voucher-type, meaning that it provides the consumers the opportunity to pay for their online purchases in cash. There are more than 7,000 locations where consumers can make their payment with Efecty.

Merchants, according to the rep, “will enjoy the benefits of fast processing and reconciliation.”

“Another voucher that 85% of Colombian consumers use on a daily basis is Via Baloto,” the rep continued, “which is the second payment method you can implement via 2000Charge. This is one of the most trusted payment methods in this country as Colombian customers can enjoy the benefits of paying for their desired goods or services in cash.

The Via Baloto voucher is accepted at more than 14,000 branch stores in Colombia, the rep added, which “tells a lot about how trustworthy it is. Merchants, on the other hand, enjoy easy and convenient integration and secure transactions.”
