LOS ANGELES — Sex-positive retailer Restrained Grace will serve as the guest moderator of tomorrow's edition of the Twitter-based chat show #SexTalkTuesday.
"Owned by intersectional feminists who believe that 'BDSM is for everybody,' Restrained Grace creates elegant, feminine and classically designed kink gear, day collars and much more," a rep noted.
"We are especially interested in discussing the imagery of BDSM," said the rep, "as Restrained Grace is about crafting a visual narrative with diverse bodies and loving relationships."
The discussion, produced by Sssh.com founder Angie Rowntree, will unspool from 5-6 p.m. (PST).
"Since many of our #SexTalkTuesday followers participate in some form of kink, we are super-excited to bring on Restrained Grace and explore how imagery informs sex play — and vice versa. Fantasies are often visually driven [and] this discussion should hopefully ignite everyone’s curiosity," said Rowntree.
The rep noted Restrained Grace aims to open their first retail location, a "shame-free sex shop," in San Diego early this year.
"We’re working to stock top-shelf adult products along with our own handcrafted bondage gear, jewelry and apparel, in addition to products with low accessibility locally, like chest binders, packer gear and a library of books on topics from sex for beginners through LGBTQ+ history and leather culture. We’ll also be offering adult sex-ed classes and more."
