Xgen Now Stocking Personal Protective Equipment for Retailers

HORSHAM, Penn. — Xgen Products has is now stocking personal protective equipment (PPE) with additional types and styles to be made available in the coming weeks.

“Almost all of our customer partners have been affected by COVID-19 in some way,” said Andy Green, President of Xgen. “Now that stores are beginning to open back up, we wanted to make sure their employees and in-store customers are protected.”

“As we’ve seen in grocery stores and online, coming by PPE can be tough,” Green added. “Our customers can count on Xgen to provide all the PPE they may need as we all go through this together.”

The company is offering hand sanitizer in 1.5 oz and 3 oz tubes and an 8 oz pump bottle. The tube sanitizers are 75% isopropyl alcohol; the pump bottle contains 62% ethyl alcohol. Both formulations are effective on germs and bacteria, including the novel coronavirus.

Xgen is also offering gloves and face masks.

"The gloves, available in two sizes, are made from nitrile, an allergy-safe compound that feels a lot like latex but it’s much stronger, costs less and is more comfortable to wear," a rep explained. "Xgen has also brought in two types of masks: the standard disposable three-ply face masks, and the KN95 protective masks."

"In order to be as safe as possible and cut down on contact in their warehouse," said the rep, "customers interested in PPE from Xgen will be asked to purchase the items by the box or carton."
