Malebasics Offers 'Defender' Face Masks

MIAMI — Raúl Valencia, CEO and Founder of Malebasics apparel company, has announced the Defender, a three-layer fabric mask developed to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

"Their anti-fluid cloth face masks are a good quality product that can be washed up to 50 times," a rep explained. The mask is environmentally friendly, covers up to 50 percent of the face and is hypoallergenic for sensitive skin.

"Each layer fulfills a specific purpose," the rep continued. "The outer layer is made of synthetic tight-knit fabric [to] trap particles; the mid-layer complies with AAMI PB70 standards, a special fabric with antimicrobial properties that blocks water and vapor droplets carrying pathogens; and the inner facial layer is a hypoallergenic fabric that traps moisture and impurities."

The masks are available two sizes, S/M and L/XL, and a variety of styles: Black, Gray, Navy, Pink and Hot Pink, Red and several prints.

"Pick your favorite and look great while you protect yourself," said the rep.
