Pornhub, Modelhub Boost Model Payouts for April

LOS ANGELES — To help models who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 lockdown, Pornhub is boosting payout in April to 85 percent; 100 percent of their video sales, minus 15 percent payment processing fees.

The payout bump will go into effect on both Pornhub and its sister clip site Modelhub.

According to the company, when compared to the previous month-to-date stats, the Pornhub Model Program has seen a sales increase of over 15 percent. This includes video sales, which grew by 10 percent; tips, which grew by 21 percent; and fan club sales, which grew by 18 percent.

“When a global human crisis happens, it is up to everyone to work together to help support the community,” Pornhub VP Corey Price stated. “We have always been a global community, hosting over 130,000 models from every corner of the earth. We stand by our performers and models and we will continue working on other projects to assist the community during this challenging time.”

Besides the payout boost, the company has also donated $25,000 to the Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP), contributing directly to sex worker relief funds in the SWOP-USA network to meet immediate requests for support from sex workers impacted by COVID-19.
