WOW Tech Launches Online Product Training Sessions

WOW Tech Launches Online Product Training Sessions

OTTAWA, Ontario — In response to mandated store closures and social distancing efforts throughout North America to combat the spread of COVID-19, WOW Tech has launched a series of online training sessions, available to its retail partners.

The live training webinars are offered in English, Spanish and French in order to keep retailers up to date with new products and their features and benefits. WOW Tech has also developed a series of webinars that focus on best practices for e-commerce to better assist brick and mortar shops that have since shifted their focus to online sales for the time being.

To date, the online training sessions have been well-received by more than 200 retail staff members. The latest round of training sessions kick off today and will run through April 15. Sessions are approximately one hour and are capped at 25 participants.

Simon Smith, VP of business development at WOW Tech Group, said of the new initiative, “We’ve always strived to provide the best possible training and resources to our trusted retail partners and their staff and we fully intend on continuing to deliver in that regard during these difficult times.

"From offering online training in multiple languages and time zones, to sales and merchandizing best-practices, we’re committed to helping our partners every step of the way."

Company reps further noted that despite posing a significant challenge for the global economy and the adult industry generally, the "stay home" edicts from public health officials have presented a unique opportunity for adult products.

"With people at home and having more time to explore their sexuality, either on their own or with their partner, there is no shortage of demand for product," said a rep. "WOW Tech reports that they maintain extensive stock in their global warehouses and are fully equipped to meet both retail partner and customer needs."

Smith added, “We see good long-term potential for our partners, and we will use all the resources at our disposal to help them in the meantime. Together we’re going to get through this."

Retail partners can view all webinar topics and sign-up to join here or by contacting their WOW Tech account manager.

After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with a link to join the video call.
