Pornhub Issues Coronavirus Statement, Guarantees Payouts

LOS ANGELES — Pornhub has released an official statement assuring performers that payments will continue to be paid out "as usual" and on time, despite the global coronavirus outbreak that's now seen various national and industry-specific shutdowns.

Posted to its blog, the statement reads:

During these unfortunate circumstances, we want to assure our Pornhub models and everyone in our community that your Pornhub team is taking every precaution necessary to stay healthy and safe, and we just hope you’re all doing to the same!

We want to let our models know that payments will continue as usual and be on time, and our support team is still here to help you in any way they can, so feel free to contact them through our site or DM them on Twitter. You could also check out our Help Center and our blog, and stay updated through our social media channels.

One of the best ways to stay safe is to stay home and stay informed, so check out the World Health Organization website for updates and advice on how best to deal with COVID-19. If you're in need of some emotional and mental support, you could also reach out to Pineapple Support

And while we’re here to make sure everything goes smoothly and there’s always something to watch while you’re cooped up at home, remember to support and help one another and take care of your health in the next few weeks!

We're always here to lend a helping hand!

Corey Price, VP at Pornhub echoed the statement, noting, "I want to assure the [over] 100,000 independent sex workers who use Pornhub as a monetization tool, and participate in our Model Program, that their earnings will be paid out in full and on time."

"We are also bolstering our internal team dedicated to model success who regularly reach out to and consult with models on how to make the most of the platform," he concluded. "As we continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation we remain committed to putting the safety and well-being of our Pornhub community above all else."
