WELLINGTON, New Zealand — AdultToyMegaStore (ATMS) has announced a series of five events, kicking off an official New Zealand tour designed to "energize, empower and educate women with real stories about sex and sexuality."
Hosted by author Emily Writes, "Toys on Tour" will head to will head to Auckland, Christchurch, Napier, Carterton and Kapiti.
The decision to launch a touring event series comes following three sold-out Wellington events. "That’s when women started begging us to come to the regions," said ATMS Head of Customer Satisfaction, Sophie McGrath. "They want to know about our toys and they want to talk about sex."
According to McGrath, tickets went on sale this past week and are already almost sold out. "I think that shows how much women want this."
Writes similarly enthused over the forthcoming events.
"Women want to have healthy discussions about sex and sexuality in a safe environment [but] are shamed for talking about sex or having sexual desires," she noted. "I’m so excited to host these events for ATMS. There’s a real taboo there — I can’t wait for us to all blast that stigma out of the water and talk openly!"
