Madzuma Acquires Rude.com Domain Name

LOS ANGELES — Madzuma has acquired the Rude.com domain name from its previous owner.

According to the company, following the recent news that the Rude.com website was shut down, Madzuma founder Alfonsus Kusuma, aka “AK,” acted quickly to get the premium domain under his control. AK noted that with over 500,000 organic visitors per month to the domain, and its high attrition rate, it was a race to get the transaction finalized.

AK said he quickly set up a real amateur community site on the domain, using an existing network of millions of verified users and content to give the domain’s existing visitors a home that they can be a part of and enjoy.

“I was a big fan of the site back in the day, and the domain, and have done business with the previous owner,” AK explained. “So, when I heard about it being shut down, I felt like acquiring it ASAP was the right move.”

The original Rude.com site was not part of the acquisition, so getting a new site up quickly was of utmost importance to AK as he did not want the traffic wasted.

The new Rude.com community comprises males and females who desire to share their sexually explicit photos and videos, with Madzuma planning to rebuild the brand, leveraging the traffic it once had, while optimizing and monetizing it — including the launch of an affiliate program with a pay-per-lead (PPL) program allowing webmasters to monetize their traffic with Rude.com.

AK launched Madzuma.com in 2015, focusing on adult dating verticals and helping to launch private network Conversion Sharks with its CEO Chris W. Before Madzuma, AK served as DatingGold’s VP and while adult dating verticals will remain a part of his dealings, given his experiences, the upcoming general adult verticals will be AK’s focus going forward.

“With the 2020 trade shows just around the corner,” AK concluded, “I am excited to see industry friends and open to discuss any future strategic business relationships.”
