XBIZ Berlin Official Show Schedule Announced

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the official schedule for next month’s XBIZ Berlin show with a targeted focus on content production and monetization, while bringing together ancillary markets that enable commerce, such as traffic and technology.

The 2019 edition promises an industry-leading slate of educational sessions and inspirational workshops, plus networking opportunities and social get-togethers at this annual gathering of international players from Europe and beyond.

XBIZ’s European fall show debuted in 2011 and has steadily evolved, with the upcoming events series set to draw record attendance, offering a diverse range of activities and business opportunities.

Kicking off the fun is the “Good Mojo” Welcoming Reception, a kick-off happy hour courtesy of MojoHost, as it embarks on its 20th year, with complimentary cocktails and casual conversations offering an opportunity to make new connections and renew existing friendships.

First up, the educational component of the show schedule is highlighted by a groundbreaking triad of “Meeting of the Minds” sessions, providing peer-led open floor discussions for performers, producers and paysite pros that will cover the newest trends in each arena from a broader European perspective.

Producers will benefit from a special session on “Content Monetization Today,” while the debut of the Gay Roundtable will host leading execs to examine the latest issues and trends shaping the gay market.

Talent is in the spotlight at XBIZ Berlin, with its exclusive “Talent Trends” track bringing the newest information about profiting from cams and clips, building traffic from social media, and more. Two special add-ons to this year’s schedule include an introduction to Pineapple Support and the free emotional education and therapy services it offers the talent community, and a debate on testing protocols in Europe, co-hosted by the Free Speech Coalition and Talent Testing Services.

There also will be a session devoted to new legal changes on the horizon, and an exclusive age-verification Q&A session with the single most knowledgeable authority on the subject — British Board of Film Classification Policy Director Murray Perkins.

To fulfill the networking needs of attendees, XBIZ Berlin offers social activities for a refreshed mix of business and pleasure. One highlight that is sure to be a rousing time is the debut of the sexy XBIZ Berlin Strip-Off Contest, where top adult stars will compete for a grand prize.

As with all XBIZ shows, the conference will feature the perennially popular speed networking session and Mix & Meet Happy Hour exhibition for merchants offering business-to-business services and solutions.

ManyVids CEO Bella French will deliver the highly anticipated keynote of this year’s conference, discussing “The Rise of Adult Content Creators” with XBIZ Publisher Alec Helmy.

Finally, following a pre-awards happy hour, the triumphant return of the XBIZ Europa Awards takes center stage. Co-hosted by the legendary Rocco Siffredi and award-winning performer and director Misha Cross, the Europas bring the most prestigious and enviable recognition to the European adult industry, with honors for outstanding achievements in movie production, digital media, pleasure products and retail.

Slated for Sept. 9-12, XBIZ Berlin returns to the urban-chic Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel on KöpenickerStrasse. The ultra-convenient venue — near the Heinrich Heine Metro Station for easy, inexpensive transportation — is located amid historical attractions such as scenic Alexanderplatz and the Nikolaiviertel, the center of Berlin’s trendy nightlife and entertainment scene.

The host hotel offers a showcase of contemporary Berlin style, complimentary breakfast and luncheon buffets, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property and other enjoyable amenities, including a comfortable bar and the Kunstwerk Restaurant that make wining and dining easy. The hotel’s charming courtyard provides a perfect venue for attendees to mix and mingle, making it the ultimate nouveau networking hub.

Affiliates, talent, and producers qualify for free registration, while members of XBIZ.net are eligible for discounted event admission.
