Rock Candy Toys Celebrates 2019 XBIZ Awards Win

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Rocky Candy Toys is celebrating its 2019 XBIZ Awards win as New Pleasure Products Company of the Year.

"The prestigious award marks a first for Rock Candy, affirming the brand’s innovative and undeniable presence in the world of adult pleasure products,” a rep said.

"Rock Candy set out with the intention to develop an extensive collection of candy-themed sex toys, with a cohesiveness reflected in compelling product packaging and charismatic colors. Unmistakable product names and shapes were strategically chosen to strike a psychological connection with the large majority of retail consumers,” notes the rep.

"The visual aesthetic and superior marketing components are a result of an intricate design process. From its inception, Rock Candy enlisted the expertise of an all-star roster of industry veterans and mainstream packaging designers to achieve a vintage-inspired look and feel.”

The XBIZ honor is “a milestone for Rock Candy,” said owner David Joseph. "Our current success is a result of the talent and dedication that each well-seasoned team member brings to the table, as well as the invaluable support from our industry partners. The enthusiasm and brand loyalty we have garnered thus far from both distributors and consumers is our driving force. We are dedicated to raising the bar even higher in 2019; we are just getting started.”

The brand, which launched in January 2018, has earned a variety of industry honors, including a pair of 2018 StorErotica nominations.

"It is a huge honor to be recognized for all of the hard work we put into launching Rock Candy Toys. We have an outstanding team here, and we are all excited to build on our momentum during 2019, and beyond," notes VP of sales Lewis Adams.
