Blogr.xxx Says It Reached 1 Million Posts Within Month

SAN FRANCISCO — Tumblr-like adult social network Blogr.xxx has reached more than 1 million posts, the company said.

The new site, creator Mike said, provides a home to thousands of adult blogs removed from Tumblr following its crackdown on adult content.

“The Blogr adult microblogging platform offers many tools for porn stars, cam models and webmasters, including a Tumblr importer tool. [We] welcome adult or mainstream bloggers to use our site with open arms,” said Mike, who is Blogr.xxx’s CEO and founder.

One of the most used tools before the crackdown was the “Tumblr importer,” which facilitated an easy migration of a Tumblr blog to Blogr.xxx. This made a lot of “tumblr refugees” very happy, he said.

“Even though it is a cool feature, at the moment the servers are going full blast and Tumblr has certain API limitations which make things happen slower than people would like,” he said.

“Right after Tumblr made the announcement things started to get wild and hot on Blogr, so we had to make a lot of improvements and investments in a short period of time.”
