PITTSBURGH — Adult Empire has named Angela White as its inaugural “Empire Pornstar of the Year.”
According to the company, the designation is given to the adult performer who most shaped the world of porn in a given year.
“From our very first discussions about ‘Pornstar of the Year,’ Angela White was the clear choice,” says Adult Empire VP Colin Allerton. “She’s had an incredible year, and we wanted to celebrate her achievements in a one-of-a-kind way.”
The company cites White’s 2018 showcase movies (including “Angela By Darkko,” “I Am Angela,” and “Angela Loves Women 4”), her consistent popularity on Adult Empire’s porn star rankings, and her overall drive to express her sexuality in unique ways as the primary reasons she was named “Pornstar of the Year.”
White expressed her delight in snaring the inaugural star-of-the-year honor.
“I feel extremely honored and grateful,” White says. “It is a privilege to be part of this incredible industry and to be recognized for my work is an overwhelming and indescribable feeling.”
“I aimed to make 2018 meaningful to me, and hopefully others. I can’t speak to how others will reflect on the year I’ve had, but I feel I achieved what I set out to do,” White adds. “It was important for me to create content that was sincere and significant, deep and inclusive.”
