LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce Bree Mills, head of Gamma Films and 2018 XBIZ Director of the Year, whose maverick paysites and filmmaking flamboyance continually disrupt the adult digital media landscape, as the Visionary Keynote speaker for XBIZ 2019, set for Jan. 14-18 at the Andaz hotel in L.A.
Having cemented her reputation as a director’s director within a matter of years, Mills has transformed sites like all-girl Girlsway.com and hardcore PureTaboo.com into popular cinematic brands, empowering co-directors Stills by Alan and Craven Moorehead in the process to master their productions with finesse.
From her days of mainstream marketing in music and e-commerce, to Mills’ initial foray into adult after Gamma recruited her for a marketing position in their live cam project, she has swiftly ascended the ranks of the venerable company.
Mills soon became marketing director, then creative director and head of production, now carving out a position as showrunner with her bold Adult Time endeavor — a Netflix-style approach to releasing episodic series and merging all Gamma Films sites under one umbrella brand, with data-driven algorithms intent on serving up adaptive content a la Hulu.
