LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has announced the wide VOD release of "Deadpool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody," as well as its trailer.
According to a company rep, "The most highly anticipated title yet from the award-winning Wicked Comix imprint, this searing take on Marvel's most irreverent superhero is legendary director Braun's first parody to reach audiences since his chart-topping Editor's Choice smash hit Justice League XXX."

"Deadpool XXX" finds Braun favorite Seth Gamble taking on the role of Wade Wilson — the highly trained mercenary whose amazing regenerative abilities are second only to his hyperawareness and raunchy humor. The film represents what is described as "an amazing and award-worthy achievement for Gamble, who is currently astonishing audiences and critics alike as the male lead in Braun's first non-parody feature in 15 years, 'The Possession of Mrs. Hyde.'"
The versatile actor is currently enjoying "what can only be called the year of his career," delivering what Braun has called the ultimate "double whammy with Hyde and Deadpool — two completely different characters and two equally incredible performances.”
“Playing Deadpool was an amazing and very challenging experience,” said Gamble. “On top of the fact that we were parodying a character who’s already a parody, I had a mask on the entire time so I needed to show emotion and project using only my voice and body language. Also I needed not to die, since we were shooting in 100-degree weather and the suit is basically a wood-burning oven, no pun intended. Axel had a hysterical script and really let me swing from the fences, and I’m so proud of the result, it’s by far the funniest role I’ve ever played, and although having sex with gloves and a mask that makes you legally blind while your body is baking may not sound very appealing, I finally got to bone Jessica Drake so fuck yeah!"
As befits the director's take on this sector of the MCEU, "Deadpool XXX" is awash "in meta-porn innovations and allusions, immersing viewers in a rollicking and erotic movie-within-a-movie-within-a-movie." XBIZ Award-winning Jessica Drake and contract actor/director Brad Armstrong — both riding high on "the blockbuster success of their explosive Editor's Choice 'Fallen II Angel & Demons' — are brilliant as Lady Deadpool and Cable, tearing into their roles with no small amount of good humor; an award-winning art director, Armstrong even designed and built his own unique take on Cable's iconic costume and mechanical arm, and is credited as one of the costume designers in the movie."
From a "hyper-meta cameo" by Avi Love in which she reprises her Mrs. Hyde character, the movie also offers "James Bartholet's hilarious turn as Wade's agent, [as] Braun relentlessly pushes the envelope with comical asides which break both the fourth and fifth walls of conventional drama."
The film's "five explosive sex scenes also reflect Braun's meta-porn approach; Domino is portrayed by two actresses — Jennifer White shines as the traditional comic book ingenue, while Ana Foxxx personifies the 'new' Domino depicted by Zazie Beetz in Ryan Reynolds' 'Deadpool 2,'" and "Braun favorite Romi Rain" — who was named 2018 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year, after being nominated two years in a row for the honor only by XBIZ, is described as "an industry icon thanks in no small part to her incredible turn as Wonder Woman." The rep added that she is "a dead ringer for the classic Elektra of vintage Marvel lore," while Ramon Nomar "put on 27 pounds of pure muscle to portray rageaholic killing machine Franke Castle — The Punisher."
"No meta-porn blockbuster would be complete without self-referential non-sex cameos, and 'Deadpool XXX' contains several, including Braun himself alongside fellow parody specialist Will Ryder, whose thespian track record with the director includes turns as Perry White in both 'Superman XXX' and 'Superman v. Spider-Man XXX," according to the rep. "And since Braun was actually the first to bring the 'merc with a mouth' to screen — a full three years before Ryan Reynolds — via his 2013 parody 'Wolverine XXX,' even Logan makes an appearance, this time in traditional Golden Age Marvel garb."
“I have to give a huge amount of credit to Seth," said Braun, who won two XBIZ Awards this past January. "Between Hyde and Deadpool, he’s shown a level of commitment, passion and preparation that is seldom seen in the adult industry, and his work ethic would literally blow away plenty of mainstream actors. His take on Deadpool is not a Ryan Reynolds impersonation, he really made it his own through months of practice, and a deep understanding of the character. Again, let’s not forget, this is a guy who hired a native Australian dialect coach for three weeks so he could master the accent to play Captain Boomerang in 'Suicide Squad,' which ended up being my most awarded parody ever. Seriously, who does that?"
