Vibrant Celebrates 2nd Anniversary

DENVER — Vibrant, a Denver-based social enterprise shopping site for body-safe adult toys with proceeds funding Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, is celebrating its second anniversary.

In its first two years, Vibrant says it has experienced 30 percent year-over-year growth in areas including customers, traffic, social media presences and staffing.

“We started Vibrant with the intention of opening up the conversation about sexual health and pleasure for all people,” said Angela Wells, CEO and founder of Vibrant. “As a startup, we are thrilled to see our mission being so well received and expect to see similar growth over the coming year.”

One hundred percent of Vibrant’s proceeds go to support Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. Vibrant says it picks up the sexual health and education conversation where Planned Parenthood drops off — with sexual pleasure, in a safe and inclusive online environment.

“Over our first two years not only have we seen significant growth in overall product sales and offerings, we are seeing an expanded awareness of and desire for body safe products,” Wells said. “Not only have we been able to help people feel more empowered to choose toys that satisfy them in the bedroom or whatever room they choose, but also feel confident that the products they are purchasing are safe and healthy for their bodies.”

Vibrant aims to create a safe, fun and inclusive environment to explore pleasure by offering options that accommodate the full spectrum of gender, sexual orientation, racial and economic diversity, and bodies of all types and varying abilities.
