CleverBucks Launches With iPhone Giveaway

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Taking advantage of a bit of fortuitous timing, new affiliate program CleverBucks announced today that in celebration of its official launch, the program will be giving away an iPhone as part of a promotion running through the end of July.

“The iPhone’s release really was perfect timing for the launch, so it’s an ideal prize to logically go with,” CleverBucks owner Justin (AKA “luv$”) said. “We look forward to delivering this awesome phone into someone’s hands, hot off the market, as well as giving our affiliates an incentive to get the ball rolling on getting links up and making money.”

CleverBucks currently has a three-site portfolio; the anal-focused XGape.com, the interracial site XCrib.com and a collection of all-girl action at Xlez.com.

The program offers both pay-per-signup and revshare options, paying out $30 PPS and 50 percent on the revshare. While the new program’s payouts are competitive, Justin told XBIZ that he made a conscious decision not to get into a payout-rate bidding war with the rest of the market when it came time to launch CleverBucks.

“The thing is a lot of programs come out all flashy and over the top with huge payouts and advertising everywhere,” Justin said. “I decided to go another route and play it safe so to speak, so as not to overextend the program and be a flash in the pan sort of thing.”

Justin added that he brings a blue-collar approach to his program and a realistic perspective that he believes webmasters appreciate.

“People know me and know that I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get dirty right alongside webmasters,” Justin said. “The whole point of this program is to not be another place to send their traffic. I want to be a program that’s in their corner, working with them and being consistent and solid. My goal is to be a part of a webmaster’s arsenal for monetizing their traffic, not something that simply rides hype and caters only [to] the select few.”

The other thing that webmasters might appreciate, of course, is winning an iPhone — possibly the single most anticipated new tech device to hit the market since Apple revolutionized the digital music world with the iPod.

The structure of CleverBucks’ iPhone giveaway is fairly simple: For every three signups a CleverBucks affiliate sends in between July 1 and July 31, one ticket is earned toward the iPhone prize drawing to take place in early August.

As an added incentive, and to assure that every affiliate sees a direct benefit from signing up for the program, CleverBucks also is crediting $25 to all affiliates who sign up between June 25 and July 25, just for establishing an account.
