Pornhub Says More Women Are Watching All-Male Porn

CYBERSPACE  — Increasing numbers of women are skipping straight porn — girl/boy, girl/girl — in favor of all-male adult content, according to research from Pornhub.

“Pornhub stats show that women are 69 percent more likely to watch gay male porn than men,” notes a Metro.co.uk article, “and it’s the most-watched category for women over 45.”

The most commonly searched terms are “Black,” “Straight Guys,” “Daddy,” “Bareback” and “Big Dick.”

The next group of search terms includes “Creampie,” “Interracial,” “Group,” “Japanese” and “Twink.”

Sex therapist Vanessa Marin said the sheer volume of porn available to consumers encourages experimentation. “People are feeling a greater permissiveness in gender and sexual expression,” she said. “And that’s being reflected in our porn consumption."

Marin said the phenomenon of women watching all-male adult content should not be surprising.

“Men have been watching lesbian porn for ages, so it’s not like straight women watching gay porn is that unusual.”

In related news, Pornhub has announced categories for the debut of its adult entertainment awards show, hosted by Asa Akira and set for Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles.

Elsewhere, Pornhub has added a “closed captioning” category, which features an entire library of content geared toward deaf and hard-of-hearing users.

The closed captioning collection — all with the accessibility of subtitles — will include more than 1,000 top-viewed videos from the site’s straight, popular with women, gay, bi and transsexual categories.
