LOS ANGELES — Pornhub has announced categories for the debut of its adult entertainment awards show, hosted by Asa Akira and set for Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles.
According to the company, it will honor adult entertainment’s best and brightest at the event, which will be broadcast live in HD and virtual reality on Pornhub.com, where fans will be able to tune in to the show from their desktop, mobile and VR devices from anywhere in the world.
Boasting an extensive list of more than 60 awards and honors, the event will feature classic categories as well new ones, with winners determined by Pornhub site data and insights, as well as fan voting.
“Pornhub is proud to celebrate sexual diversity and acceptance with its inclusive nominee list, along with award titles such as ‘The All By Herself Award’ for top female solo performer the ‘The Big and Beautiful’award for top BBW performer, plus the Pornhub Insights-driven ‘Most Popular Trans Pornstar’ award,” explained a company spokesperson. “Fan-voted awards include ‘Instagrammer of the Year,’ ‘Fan Fav Channel’ among many more.”
In addition to the category awards, Vice Industry Token (VIT) will be on the scene awarding $30,000 worth of prize cryptocurrency throughout the event.

We believe this awards show will not only honor the amazing performers, but also honors the fans because of their dedication and feedback that helps us produce the best adult experience out there,” Pornhub VP Corey Price said. “This is something that has been in the works for quite some time. In addition to the porn stars giving and receiving awards, the event will also include comedian performances, as well as video highlights from the Chaturbate sponsored Pornhub Games, where adult stars engaged in sex-skill competitions. Nominees in the category will also have the chance to win an additional $22,500 in VIT cryptocurrency.
Fans looking for a true VR experience and equipped with an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift headset can attend the event as an avatar within Utherverse’s “Oasis” social VR world.
