XBIZ Cam Awards Set to Rock South Beach Miami

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the venue for the 2018 edition of the XBIZ Cam Awards, presented by premier cam network MyFreeCams.com and hosted by cam stars Catjira and Vera Sky, set for May 31 in Miami.

The XBIZ Cam Awards, honoring the biggest names from the world of cams that have set adult entertainment ablaze, will take place at one of Miami’s most extravagant properties in Miami — LIV at the world-renowned Fontainebleau Hotel — a top retreat for celebrities such as P. Diddy, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye West, Pharrel Williams, Calvin Harris and many more.

Ranked as one of the best event venues in the world, LIV reopened after a $10 million renovation to kick off its 10th year. Acclaimed experiential design firm ICRAVE oversaw the transformation, and now with more than 18,000 square feet of striking architecture, soaring ceilings, vibrant lighting and its iconic dome, LIV sets the stage for the XBIZ Cam Awards.

LIV has been updated to reflect the latest in technology and design. The physical and technological upgrades incorporate the latest and greatest available including maximizing the historic “bones” of the space and have transformed the iconic dome and steel truss (affectionately referred to as “The Spider”) to become an even more immersive and energetic environment. This, along with a general refresh of the look and materials, and introduction of projection mapping, have further cemented LIV as Miami’s most exciting venue.

LIV’s footprint stands in the home of the world-renowned Tropigala Lounge, known in the 1950s and 1960s as the La Ronde Room. Frank Sinatra was the first to illuminate the stage, followed by the likes of Sammy Davis Jr., Ann Miller, Elvis Presley and Tony Bennett. Today, LIV has once again made the space an epicenter for style, fame and glamour.

The grand finale event of XBIZ Miami, the XBIZ Cam Awards highlights the annual summit’s focus on independent performers, with a special red-carpet event that captures the high-energy glamor of South Beach.

“The return of the XBIZ Cam Awards at such an iconic venue sets the perfect stage for the cam industry’s biggest night,” XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy said. “This venue underscores XBIZ’s commitment to the independent performer community, showing our unequaled recognition for their contributions to the success of our industry, in a way that they deserve — and that only XBIZ can provide.”

From May 29 through June 1, South Beach’s chic Mondrian Hotel, the venue for 2018 XBIZ Miami, will serve as ground zero for the adult industry, offering the most diverse mix of educational sessions and networking special events to date.
