LOS ANGELES — ManyVids has announced the launch of a major update to its video uploading system.
According to the company, the new improvements have transformed the way users upload content by giving them an easier and faster way to do it.
Among the upgrades are dramatically improved upload speeds, with the ability to multi-select, or drag and drop multiple files, into the uploader at once.
The maximum file size has also been increased to 5GB.
In addition to standard M4V, MP4, and MOV uploads, 4K videos are now supported.
Custom previews can now be up to 30 seconds long and 720p video previews are now available for all newly uploaded HD videos.
Users can regenerate and edit their new video previews at any time, and a GIF of the preview will be created and saved as a fun promotional tool.
“With the ability to upload better quality vids, put longer previews, and spend less time doing tedious upload work, you will have more time for other things and can focus on bringing your MV Profile to the next level,” says a ManyVids spokesperson. “Although the automatic screenshot generator is currently not providing as many options as before, we understand the importance of this feature and are currently working on bringing [it] back. The on-demand generator will be better than ever before!”
