LOS ANGELES — Adrian Beltre, third baseman with the Texas Rangers, who recently celebrated his 3,000th major league hit, will be in the Vivid Radio Sports Spotlight segment on this Wednesday.
Gerrie Burke, host of “Sports Overnight America” will salute Beltre in an appearance on the Vivid Radio show “Tales of Culo with Nikki Delano” at 1 p.m. (PDT).
Then, Delano will talk about Beltre on Burke’s show on the “Sports Byline USA Network” at 10 p.m. (PDT).
According to a representative, Beltre, 38, entered the majors in 1998 as a Los Angeles Dodger and he has been with the Rangers, his fourth team, since 2011. He is the 31st major leaguer to achieve the 3,000 hits milestone and the first Dominican player to accomplish the feat.
