SegPay Launches 'Ideas Portal'

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — SegPay has announced the launch of its new Ideas Portal, which the company calls “a hub for merchants to share feedback and suggestions to improve the company’s service.”

SegPay’s Ideas Portal is set to serve as a central location to collect feature suggestions, guaranteeing that all merchant feedback will be received and considered.

Based on merchant feedback, the company says it has already developed new features and enhancements to improve the user experience of its recently launched merchant portal, which it hopes to further improve with the Ideas Portal, encouraging merchants to keep sharing their thoughts and ideas on how to make SegPay better.

“Our merchants have been giving us great insight on the features they need, and we’ve been listening,” said SegPay CEO Cathy Beardsley. “We developed our Ideas Portal because we wanted to let our clients know that they have a voice in what we do. There’s no better place to get advice than directly from merchants who use the portal every day.”

Some of the current features undergoing updates in response to client feedback include better retention tools that allow the reactivation of cancelled subscriptions and the ability to suspend or temporarily pause subscriptions; as well as more robust alternative payments, such as SEPA, Giropay, iDEAL, EPS, Astropay, Trustpay, PostFinance, Teleingreso and more.

Merchants can check the Ideas Portal to see suggestions in the pipeline, and to vote for their favorites.

“We want our merchant portal to be an ongoing, collaborative process,” said SegPay VP of Operations Jeff Rozenzweig. “We encourage merchants to continue to provide feedback for what they want.”

“For example, are there specific retention tools or alternative payments they want to see? What other features and reports would be helpful for them?” Rozenzweig adds. “Our clients’ ideas matter, and we want to hear them.”

The company’s merchant portal was updated last month to include new and enhanced capabilities for SegPay clients. The updates made the portal faster and simpler to navigate. It also now provides an intuitive interface so merchants can easily pull reports to see the latest metrics about transactions on the site. With the updated portal, business owners can access and manage account information from virtually any device at any time.
