Subsensuals to Exhibit Erotic Jewelry at Sex Expo N.Y.

NEW YORK — Subsensuals will exhibit its line of erotic jewelry and nipple clamps at Sex Expo New York 2017, to be held Sept. 23-24 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

Based in New York City, Subsensuals was founded by Helaine Katz in 2013. The company’s collection of nipple clamps includes Luxury Clamps, Rainbow Diamond Clamps, the Unicorn Clamp, the Snowflake Clamp and the High-Heel Clamp, all of which sell for $49 on its official website, Subsensuals.com.

“Subsensuals, established in 2013, is born from the idea that sexual pleasure is derived in many forms,” a Subsensuals spokesperson said. “While that concept is nothing new, Helaine, the owner of Subsensuals with the creative vision, came to find when she least expected it that there was a market for aesthetically pleasing erotic jewelry that was not commonly found in the market until she was approached and asked what designs she could come up with that met a very particular niche market. Much to her surprise, the concept of magnetic nipple clamps with a flair was very well received by her initial client — so much so that the design has since come to be patented.”

Other products available at Subsensuals.com include a chain necklace and key-and- lock choker — both of which sell for $85 — and Subsensuals’ Purple Rain Choker, which sells for $65. Subsensuals also sells rings, including Subsensuals Diamond Rings and Subsensuals Sparkle Rings, for $49.

In early March, organizers for the Sexual Health Expo (SHE) announced that the bicoastal, biannual event was rebranding as Sex Expo — and Sex Expo New York 2017 will be its first East Coast gathering since the name change. Sex Expo has been taking place in Los Angeles and New York City; its most recent West Coast event, SHE L.A. 2017, was held at the California Market Center in Downtown Los Angeles in early February.

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St., Brooklyn, N.Y. 11222 in the Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station. To reach the Brooklyn Expo Center from Manhattan, take the G Train.
