Epoch Hosting 20th Anniversary Oktoberfest Bash at XBIZ Berlin

LOS ANGELES — Premier billing company Epoch, which has been providing payment solutions since 1996, will be hosting its 20th Anniversary Oktoberfest Bash at XBIZ Berlin next month.

Epoch’s milestone is particularly noteworthy because the Santa Monica, Calif.-based company is the first biller in the online adult space to reach the 20-year mark.

Presented by the TrafficPartner family of leading industry brands, XBIZ Berlin is set for Sept. 11-14 at the Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel, located on 80-82 Köpenicker Strasse.

The event unites European adult industry leaders with their peers from around the region, and from around the world, for three days of educational, networking, and social opportunities.

Harmik Gharapetian, Epoch’s vice president of sales and marketing, said the company is excited to be participating in a show in a new city, with the debut of XBIZ Berlin — and is pleased to host the headliner party on the first night of the show.

“We have come a long way and had many of milestones, but to be the first in our industry to make it to 20 says a lot about not only us, but all our loyal and wonderful clients, consumers and partners,” says Gharapetian. “We could not have done this without them.”

Epoch’s Oktoberfest Bash will be held at Birgit & Bier, a Berlin-hip beer garden, bar, grill and disco, and will feature complimentary drinks, delicious German sausages and salty brezels (Bavarian-style pretzels) at this Oktoberfest-themed party honoring the popular billing company’s two decades of success, with round-trip shuttle service from XBIZ Berlin’s host hotel provided for attendees.

Gharapetian looks proudly back on his 17 years of service with Epoch and believes that although the company has already accomplished a lot, there is still more to come.

“I believe innovation has gotten us to this point, and we will continue to innovate for the next 20 years,” Gharapetian concludes. “Together we have been able to bring a lot of things to the market first, and we will continue to do so.”

Among XBIZ Berlin’s other highlights are the NETbilling-sponsored seminars, which in Berlin will offer dedicated tracks detailing the latest in cams and ad networks, webmastering today, internationalization strategies and more, for an insider’s view of the adult industry.

Providing a mix of work and play, XBIZ Berlin also offers social gatherings such as the WIA Power Brunch that gives female executives an opportunity to forge international relations, while the official welcome receptions and sponsored mixers — including Flirt4Free and Mix & Meet Happy Hours, Webmaster Karaoke, and the show’s grand finale party at the legendary KitKat Club ensure a memorable event for XBIZ Berlin attendees.

“Epoch’s Oktoberfest Bash provides a one-two punch for XBIZ Berlin attendees, by celebrating a major milestone for one of the industry’s finest companies, with a characteristically German flavor,” XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy explains. “It is another example of how XBIZ Berlin will mix business and pleasure with an all-new vibe.”

Although rooms at XBIZ Berlin’s host venue, The Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel, have now sold out due to extraordinary demand, an extra block is available nearby at the Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin Mitte Hotel, located at 23-24 Wallstraße. Room rates start at €139 per night ($155), which includes free Wi-Fi.

To book a room while space is available, call +49 30 400 557 777, or email groupberlin@pphe.com, and be sure to mention XBIZ Berlin.

Affiliates and webmasters receive free admission, while XBIZ.net members qualify for a discounted rate.
